Operational flow


● Notice to consignor : 

When going through consignment formalities, consigner must submit goods instructions and specific requirements on loading, unloading and reinforcement,etc. in addition to general regulations. In special situation, consigner must also apply for transportation permit to relevant department. Freighter should conduct verification according to relevant materials provided by consigner, so as to comprehend specific characteristics of goods, choose proper vehicles, and go through consignment formalities on the precondition that the freighter can meet the conditions for safe transportation and has relevant capacity.


● Planning for carriage solution : 

Freighter should, according to the outer size of bulky goods and the weight of vehicle and goods, work with consigner to investigate the operational site and route before transportation, so as to comprehend the road alignment of roads and through capacity of bridge and culvert, and to work out transportation solutions. In case other departments are involved, freighter should apply to the departments in advance to obtain consent before transportation.

 

● Detailed rules for safety : 

Freighter should formulate technical schemes for goods loading, unloading and reinforcement, etc. as well as operational codes,and strictly execute such schemes and codes, so as to ensure reasonable loading & unloading,reliable reinforcement and safe loading & unloading. Where loading & unloading is in the charge of freighter, freighter should operate according to consigner's requirements, characteristics of goods and operational codes for loading & unloading. Where loading & unloading is in the charge of consigner, freighter should drive the vehicle to the loading & unloading place at the prescribed time and supervise the loading & unloading.

 

● Application for ultralimit transportation : 

In case of ultralimit transportation of bulky goods, freighter should apply to road management department for Traffic Permit for Ultralimit Transportation Vehicles, and drive the vehicle along the verified route. If bulky goods need to be transported in downtown area, such goods should be verified by public security bureau and civil engineering department that will issue transportation permit.

 

● Make definite enroute operation requirements : 

Freighter should drive vehicle along the designated route at the designated time, and  should hang high-profile  safety marks at the longest, widest or highest part of  goods. Freighter should hang  checkmark flag in case of daytime driving, and should mount and turn on identification lamp during night-time driving and parking for rest, so as to give alarm to other vehicles. In case of special goods, special vehicle should lead the way and timely remove barriers.

 

● Charging instructions : 

Transportation charge should be determined by consigner and freighter. Expenses for road modification, bridge & culvert reinforcement, barrier clearance, escort and loading & unloading, etc. that occur due to transportation of large-sized and special-sized heavy goods should be borne by consigner.
